WESTMORELAND MOTO GUZZI

Our History

In 1957 Donald Koshir Sr. opened Westmoreland Triumph Cycle Sales because he loved to ride. He believed that motorcycles were more than just transportation (though they are a great way to get from Point A to Point B).  Motorcycles, in a word, were FUN.

When he discovered Moto Guzzi Motorcycles several decades ago, he knew he had found the ultimate expression of fun on two wheels.  After years of  sales, numerous awards, and countless happy customers, his passion for the Italian marque was clear.

But the company didn’t stop there.  We’ve added some great brands in Hyosung for the track day folk who want a race bike at a great price.  And he was one of the first to seize the opportunity to sell the CFMOTO V5 and V3, motorcycles that even the newest riders can get on and ride.  Don Sr. loved riding.  And Don Jr. still loves riding.  It’s in the Koshir blood.  It’s what keeps us going.

In our 50-plus years of operation some things have changed and some things have stayed the same.  We’re still located directly across from Westmoreland County Fairgrounds but the building has been expanded. Don Koshir still owns the company, Don Koshir Jr. that is.  And we still sell and service the kind of quality motorcycles that we also like to own and ride.

There’s a reason Westmoreland Moto Guzzi is the oldest motorcycle dealer in Westmoreland County. Here’s to another 50 years.
